About this Photograph
Interior
design photography is challenging because as a
photographer it is your job to help capture the
fine details that truly make a room a work of
art. The designer has painstakingly chosen each
and every piece in this room to fit their vision.
As a photographer I must highlight each detail
without overpowering the rest of the room. Leaving
one object out or one detail can be disappointing
to the architect or designer.
When I work with designers and architects I always
ask what they like best about their masterpiece.
Fortunately they are always very forthcoming with
their thoughts. This allows you to narrow down
what is important to your clients and compose
a photograph that captures all of the elements
of a room.
