About this Photograph
The
red sand beach located in Hana on the island of
Maui in Hawaii is a breathtaking and truly is
a photographer's dream. The indigenous Hawaiian
woman would come here to give birth and it was
thought that the blood from child bearing was
the reason for the red sand. After a closer look,
you can see that the sand is not entirely red.
It is a mix of black, white, red, and brown sand.
For me this kind of reminds me of America's melting
pot where blacks, whites, reds, and brown people
come together in perfect and beautiful harmony.
Too bad life cannot follow Nature's ease of creating
perfect harmony.
