About this Photograph
Food
product photography on location can definitely
have its challenges. Especially when you are working
in a dynamic environment as the ocean. Even the
smallest of rogue waves can cause damage to the
product, and even worse damage, to your camera
equipment. Before you know it, you have ruined
product labels and one of the salts is smashed
all over the rocks.
This shoot with Secret Stash Sea Salts provided all of the above. Fortunately we anticipated some "casualties" and had backups ready to go. The waves and the lighthouse made the perfect backdrop for branding thier line of flavored and gourmet sea salts. I was fortunate to be the recipient of several samples and let me just say these salts are superb! Once you try naturally flavored sea salts it will completely change the way you use salt.
